We all know that Apple pulled the Google Voice app from the app store a while back. Here is Google's answer to that problem. If you pull up http://m.google.com/voice it will ask you to log in to your account. The first thing it will want you to do is make a test call TO the cell phone you are using it from. The next step is just playing with it. It allows you to look at all your contacts in your www.google.com/accounts address book. It will allow you to send SMS and make in country calls. Looking and thinking about it you could probably dump your text plan on your iPhone and just use Google voice's SMS. The only downfall to this idea would be getting MMS and anyone who had text would have to send the text to your Google Voice Number.
